Women are why we created Solare; we evoke a strength, creativity and natural, raw beauty that deserves celebrating.
#SOLAREWOMAN is a glimpse into the lives of some of the most inspiring women we know.

Karin Haas lives and works in New York City. We're enamored with her classic style and muted palette in both art and dress. Her simplified and dedicated approach to wellness reminds us that self-care can make way for creativity to flourish.
Part of the Solare mission is finding abundance in scarcity, whether that means using fewer ingredients in our beauty routines, paring down what’s in our environments, or being thankful/mindful in our days. How do you incorporate simplicity and/or nature into your everyday routine?
Managing time between art and life is always a delicate balance. About six months ago I started meditating two to three times a week and over the course of those six months, it has gradually become something I do every morning. At first, meditation seemed challenging, especially introducing the time into my daily routine, but it helps balance my day. I think I make more thoughtful decisions and it allows me to acknowledge and appreciated everything and everyone in my life. At this point, I can’t imagine my life without meditation and wonder why I didn’t start years ago.
What woman inspires strength, creativity, and/or intentional living to you and why?
My Mother is the strongest woman I know and continues to be the most creative and supportive influence in my life. We recently made a pact with each other that this year we will concentrate more on wellness and spend less money on material goods. She told me that if you don’t have your basic interests and needs in order then it can be difficult to give full appreciation to your surroundings and achievements in your life.
